Lunch bar was not as good as usual. Salads fantastic, chicken terrible, pork boring, but deserts great.

Very clean and modern, not fully supplied with samples products(conditioner was replaced with mouthwash)
Great quality, cleanliness and service. There's a restaurant, bar (with some gambling slots) and a gym that all seem brand new. Roomy rooms and spacious spaces here and there. There's even a huge BBQ available for use and a forest-themed outside luxury picnic spot. You can do your laundry as well. I only gave it 4 stars cause the location is kinda far from anything else, but they said, it's quite quiet around. Another reason might be for the thin walls, but I complain about that in most motels. I really liked the fact that they had free bike rentals, so I got to explore the surrounding bike paths and followed one to the "city center" where there were quite a few restaurants and bars (on 3rd Ave). All around a pleasant experience but I would stay somewhere else next time with more options around in walking distance (not sure if it even exists in Val d'Or).
